Jesus Society

Through a variety of initiatives and programs, we seek to empower marginalized communities and impoverished people in Vanasthalipuram, Telangana.

Jesus Society is a nonprofit organization registered in 2005 under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act. Operating in drought-prone regions of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the society aims to uplift underprivileged individuals and marginalized communities through various programs.
Our Objectives:
• Develop village educational programs.
• Establish community health services.
• Organize socio-economic programs for Self Help Groups (SHGs).
• Support income generation through skill training for youth.
• Raise awareness about health, education, agriculture, women & child welfare.
• Promote peace, harmonious relationships, and a clean environment in villages.

Banjara Embroidery Program

The Banjara embroidery program covered traditional embroidery techniques unique to the Banjara culture. Participants were taught various intricate designs and patterns for embroidery work. The program emphasized the cultural and historical significance of Banjara embroidery. High-quality embroidery materials were supplied for practice and skill de

Tailoring Program

We conducted a tailoring program in Deverakonda Village. The program included comprehensive training in sewing, stitching, and garment making. Participants learned to create a variety of clothing items, including dresses, blouses, and traditional attire. Experienced tailoring instructors provided hands-on guidance and mentorship to ensure skill development. Sewing machines and materials were provided to facilitate learning.

Computer Skills Training

In July to September 2022, we conducted a 3-month computer training program in Devarakonda Cluster, Nalgonda District, benefiting 25 women. This initiative aimed to enhance their skills, enabling sustainable livelihoods and job opportunities. Your support empowers these women, fostering independence and self-reliance, ensuring a brighter future for them and their families

Eye Camp

We conducted an impactful Eye Care Camp in Devarakonda, serving 250 patients. With a focus on the Lambada Thands in the Devarakonda Cluster, this initiative provided crucial eye care services, improving lives and promoting equal access to healthcare. Program

Education Program

During the months of September to December 2021, Jesus Society embarked on a transformative journey by organizing a computer training program exclusively tailored for 40 women. This program was designed to bridge the digital divide by providing essential digital literacy and computer proficiency skills to empower women in the Devarakonda community.

Skill Development Program

In the months of November 2022 to January 2023, we initiated skill training and tailoring programs in Devarakonda Village, with a total of 40 participants. These programs aimed to empower individuals in the community with valuable skills, focusing on tailoring for 20 women and Banjara embroidery for 20 women. The objective was to enhance their employability and income-generating potential.

Balwadi Program

In the year 2022–23, we took a significant step in our mission to provide quality education and care to the community by establishing a Balwadi Center in Errabucha Thanda, located in the Devarakonda Mandal of Nalgonda District. This center was designed to cater to children aged 3 to 6 years, offering a nurturing and educational environment to prepare them for formal schooling. The center operates from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, providing a morning session conducive to young learners.
